New Computer Protection
Hello Friends and Family,
I'm starting this blog, because I want to help myself and others use their computers more wisely, especially all the products that go along with them. There's so many products out there, that it can get overwhelming. I'm always trying to learn more and weed out the good from the worthless. Any beneficial knowledge I can pass on, I'm sure will send good Karma back my way.
I had to let everyone know about a product that has given me a tremendous peace of mind. I don't know about you, but I've always worried about the wrong things getting on my computer and then one day being hauled off in handcuffs, in front of my friends and neighbors. I know it sounds silly, but in truth, it really does happen. One wrong click, an accidental happening upon a website with illegal content, by you or anyone in your family, and then it's on your computer forever!! If your computer ever got confiscated, for whatever reason, there could be some damaging evidence.
Not only that, but I worried about protecting my own private correspondance and personal information. Today, with so much identity theft and scams out there, your computer is like a goldmine to anyone who happens to get a hold of it, with ill intentions.
So, needless to say, I love technology, but I've worried about how it could harm my family and myself. I've continually heard how everything I ever do is stored on my hard drive, even if I hit delete. That was not a conforting thought. And, if your family and friends are like mine, we often use eachother's computers. Truthfully, I don't have the time to look over their shoulders, every time they use my compuer. This new product gives me comfort in knowing that I don't have to worry. They might put something damaging on my computer (hopefully by accident), but with this product, traces of it will be permanently deleted from my hard drive!!!!
The product is called "Evidence Eraser." It completely allows you to remove all traces of questionable activity from your system. "Evidence Eraser" also allows you to erase your hard drive of all your past chats, emails, internet histories, audio and video files, deleted files, search histories, cookies, password files, image files and on and on. Simply formatting your hard drive or overwriting the files will NOT accomplish any of this or do you any good. It's like covering something with a blanket and hoping no one sees what's underneath vs. burning it!!!
"Evidence Eraser" is really easy to use and it meets the standards set by the U.S. Department of Defense for disk sanitation. That is what hooked me, their credibility. They even offer a free scan to show you files that you should or may want to delete. Their website says, "Once you've seen all the privacy-invading footprints stored on your system, our software will enable you to erase them from your hard drive forever and then not only will your privacy be protected, but your computer will run better as well."
